Gear shift comfort

The gearbox is in charge of adjusting the transmission relation so that the vehicle optimises the power with a balance between revolutions and torque supplied.

The Cojali components have an optimal response speed so that this adjustment is performed within fractions of a second.

Furthermore, the automatic gearboxes include electronic elements in all peripheral components to achieve this speed in the gear shift.

Pushing force amplification

The clutches need a high activation force for the engagement/disengagement.

Our clutch servos allow an amplification of the applied force by the clutch pedal thanks to the help of the pneumatics system of the vehicle.

This component can be hydro-pneumatic (conventional gearbox) or electro-pneumatic (automatic gearbox).

Sensibility in clutch pedal

The manual gearboxes incorporate as main components the master cylinder and the clutch servo.

Both components are in charge of transforming the force that the driver applies on the pedal into pushing force on the clutch.

Importance of the hydraulic fluid

The hydraulic fluid type can vary depending on the application and characteristics of the clutch servo. The most used ones are the brake fluid (DOT4) and the mineral oil (Pentosin). All internal parts that are part of these components are specifically chosen to work with a certain fluid type and, therefore, it is especially important to take this variable into account when performing the vehicle maintenance.
